The Waves.Exchange account can be seen as a multi-currency wallet. It supports Waves and other popular crypto coins and tokens. Currently, Waves.Exchange gateway supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, ZCash, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Monero, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Waves Enterprise, Ergo and Bancor.

How to Receive Assets from Waves.Exchange Users

The process of receiving cryptocurrencies from Waves.Exchange users is very simple. Just share your Waves.Exchange address with the person who wants to send you the assets.

You can use either Online app, or standalone version for Windows, macOS or Linux.

Open your Waves.Exhcange app, log in to your account and click on the account avatar at the top right corner of the screen.

On the next screen you will find your Waves.Exchange address. To copy your address to the clipboard, just click on the following icon:

You can use it as the recipient address for the incoming transfers from Waves.Exchange users.

How to Receive Assets from Non-Waves.Exchange Users

You can use either Online app, or standalone version for Windows, macOS or Linux.

⚠️ When sending or receiving cryptocurrency, please carefully read the transaction conditions displayed in the user interface. The transaction fee may vary depending on the selected cryptocurrency.

Open Waves.Exhcange app dashboard and in the Wallet tab click Receive on the block with the cryptocurrency that you want to receive:

The following pop-up window will appear:

Select whether you want to receive the selected cryptocurrency from the Waves Account or from an External Source, such as wallets of other vendors.

Note: You can add more blocks with cryptocurrencies. Scroll the dashboard down and click + icon to select one of the supported assets from the list.

Note: You can receive Bitcoins to SegWit Address or to Legacy Address. SegWit Addresses begin with bc1 and have reduced transaction fees, but may not be supported in some cases. Legacy Addresses begin with 1 and work everywhere. Both are safe to use.

Use the displayed address or the QR code for the payment.

Please use the displayed address only for sending the selected cryptocurrency from external non-Waves.Exchange wallets. Sending other than the selected cryptocurrency to this address may result in the total loss of the deposit.

Processing may take up to 60 minutes to complete for the gateway cryptocurrencies.

How to Send Cryptocurrency

⚠️ When sending or receiving cryptocurrency, please carefully read the transaction conditions displayed in the user interface. The transaction fee may vary depending on the selected cryptocurrency.

Open Waves.Exhcange app dashboard and in the Wallet tab click Send on the block with the cryptocurrency that you want to send.
Note: You can add more blocks with cryptocurrencies. Scroll the dashboard down and click + icon to select one of the supported assets from the list.

The following pop-up window will appear:

Fill in the sending form:

  • Recipient: Enter the recipient's address. Note: To send assets to Waves.Exchange accounts, use the recipient's Waves.Exchange address, as described in How to Receive Assets from Waves.Exchange Users section.
  • Amount: Define the number of selected assets that you want to send.
  • Transaction Fee Options: Select this checkbox to specify the tokens that you want to use to pay the transaction fee.
  • Add Description: Select this checkbox to enable the text box where you can write a message for the recipient.

⚠️ If you send cryptocurrency to an external address (not Waves.Exchange address), please make sure to account for the gateway fee (as well as 0.001 Waves transaction fee) and the minimum/maximum transfer amounts. Please read the conditions carefully before you proceed.

When you have entered all the necessary information, click Continue:

Check the entered data and click Confirm to continue or click Back to return to the previous screen.
