There are two different types of fees: the network fee for transferring your crypto assets and the trading one. As you may know, WAVES is the core coin of Waves.Exchange, so the main fee option is WAVES itself.

The trading fee

In order to be able to place an order, you need to have an initial quantity of any of the following assets: WAVES, USDN, BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, ZEC, BCH, BSV, DASH, XMR, WEST. When you've got enough to cover the fee, you'll be able to proceed with trading, and "Buy" / "Sell" buttons will become active. Here's the list of trading fees in WAVES currency depending on the trading pair type:

Waves-based token/Waves-based token: 0.003 WAVES

Waves-based token/Smart-Asset: 0.007 WAVES

Smart-Asset/Smart-Asset: 0.011 WAVES

If you will choose another cryptocurrency to pay the trading fee, a certain amount of this coin will be deducted from your Waves.Exchange wallet according to the approximate calculations above when an order of yours will be filled.

The transferring fee

The creation of an outgoing transfer of any token from your wallet will cost you 0.001 WAVES. The fee is fixed and the amount of the transfer makes no difference.

Also, you could pay the fee if you have any sponsored tokens. As you may notice, quite frequently you can receive some tokens distributed by the network participants. Some of them have "%" signs on their logos. It means they are sponsored ones and you can use them without having initial WAVES.

Check the following Sponsored Fee guide for more detailed information!
