The Waves.Exchange mobile application allows you to use two types of accounts: an account associated with email and an account associated with the seed phrase.

To restore access to your account, install the Waves.Exchange app. After installing the application, select the interface language and read the welcome information. Next, confirm your agreement with the Waves.Exchange terms and conditions of use and click the Continue button.

On the next tab, you will be asked to select the type of account you want to restore.

Note: if you are already into the account, log out before making the next steps.

How to restore access to the email account

Step 1: If you already have an email account and want to restore access to it, then select Email (Log in with email).

Step 2: enter your account credentials: email and password.

Note: If your account is protected by two-factor authentication, then you will also need to enter the 2FA code from the mobile authenticator to continue importing your account.

Step 2: On the next tab, you need to protect your account with a passcode (enter the passcode twice).

Step 3: Once you create the passcode, you will be proposed to use a fingerprint or Face ID for the account login. Select Use fingerprint or Use Face ID if you prefer to sign in with your fingerprint/Face ID, or select Not now.

How to restore access to the seed account

Step 1: If you already have a seed account and want to restore access to it, then select Software (Log in via seed).

Step 2: click the Import account (via pairing code or manually)

Step 3: at this stage, you need to choose a way to import your account:

- select Scan to import the account from the web or desktop version of Waves.Exchange via QR code;

- select Manually to import the account using Seed phrase directly.

Step 4:

- if you chose Scan in the previous step, log into your account via the web or desktop wallet, go to the Settings tab and click the Show QR Code in the Security section of the settings. After that, scan the QR code by the Waves.Exchange mobile app;

- if you chose Manually in the previous step, enter the Seed phrase and click the Continue button.

Step 5: create an account name and a strong password (enter the password twice).

Step 6: protect your account with a passcode (enter the passcode twice).

Step 7: once you create the passcode, you will be prompted to use your fingerprint to log into your account. Select Use fingerprint if you prefer to sign in with your fingerprint, or select Not now.

That's all! Welcome back to your account!

Log out before importing a new account

If you already have installed Waves.Exchange mobile app and you are logged in the account but want to import another account, just log out from the current account through the Settings tab.
